Exclamation of Thanks to all Family & Friends!!

Hey Guys,

First of all, thank you for the overwhelming success of my graduation/sendoff party in Nambe this past weekend. All of the encouraging and inspiring storytelling I got to do with everyone really got me fired-up all over again! My heart was basically overflowing with joy getting to talk about Mozambique and hear everyone's stories about serving in a billion different areas.

With the daunting task of fundraising in these times, this past weekend gave me a fresh new pair of eyes. I am now seeing this process as a means of making friends and building strong ties with individuals--real people who want to get involved. It makes the task so much easier when I see faces instead of numbers, smiles instead of dollar signs.

I would especially like to thank my mom for all of her tremendous support and love for all that she did to set up and invite everyone for the party. Also, big round of applause for Toby, who but blood, sweat and tears into the garden--where we celebrated quite happily.

THANKS A BIL, EVERYONE!!

Knee Deep in Fundraising!

Hey All! Well, it's been about two weeks of planning and re-strategizing our fundraising tactics. Now that I've adopted my "intern", the wonderful Scott Keyes, he has given me countless help in campaign fundraising. Now, it's up to Project Rx to pick up the rest of the slack and raise those funds!
